College of Business Administration organized a workshop on Tuesday 06/03/2018 GC under the title of “Effective Study Habits” which was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Rishad Faridi, Assistant Professor in Marketing Department, who talked about the effective study habits in terms of concept, habits and rules for the process of study as he shed light on the times appropriate for study and importance of exploiting the time in life of a university student. Also, he discussed the relation between the social media and academic achievement of students saying that the study and retention of information in brain is of vital importance as the study should be repeated from time to time so that the information can be remained in the brain of student for a long time. Dr. Faridi indicated to the results of modern studies which stress that there is relation between the effective habits of study and academic achievement and said that focused attention, strong desire, positive participation and revision of study materials are main steps for good and effective study. In the end, Dr. Tarek El-Khateb thanked to Dr. Mohammad Rishad Faridi and wished more success for students.
