Under the patronage of Honorable Dr. Abdurrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Khuzairi, Vice Rector for Academic & Educational Affairs, the “Unit of Distinction in Learning and Education”, which is supervised by Dr. Yousri Abul Ainain, organizes workshops for several programs during the Academic Year 2017/2018 GC in the areas of “Formulating Learning Outcomes for the Courses” and “Formulating the Exam Papers”.
Respected Dr. Ahmed Suhail Ajina, Head of Marketing Department, presented a workshop on “Formulating Learning Outcomes, Connecting them to the Methods of Teaching and Methods of Students’ Assessment”. The workshop was organized for the faculty members of the College of Business Administration on Sunday 05/03/2017 GC.
The programs of Unit of Distinction in Learning and Education in its first stage during the period (30/1 to 13/3) of the Academic Year 1438 HC include 8 workshops with a percentage of 32 training hours to 302 trainees from faculty members and coordinators of academic and service departments of the colleges of the University under the title of “Formulating Learning Outcomes for the Courses”.
It is worth mentioning that the program was started on Monday 30/01/1438 HC in its first session which contained specifying and formulating the objectives of the courses and formulating the learning outcomes of the courses in the light of areas of NQF (National Qualification Framework) starting from formulating the questions of exams for first semester of Academic Year 1437/1438 HC according to target learning outcomes of each course.
