Under the auspices of Honorable Dean Dr. Nasser S. Al-Kahtani, Vice Dean Dr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Zahrani and Admin Manager Mr. Mohammad Abdul Matloob Hamdan, the Students’ Activities Committee in the College organized a lecture in cooperation with the “Unit of Intellectual Awareness” in Vice Rectorate for Educational & Academic Affairs”.
The lecture was entitled: “A hand that protects and a hand that builds” which was presented by Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Dubyan, Chair of Intellectual Awareness Unit in the University.
Dr. Khalid explained that after the awareness lectures held in Wadi-el-Dawasir, Al-Suleil and Al-Afla, it is the first lecture and event organized in the University Campus in Al-Kharj to discuss the ideas and methods which are contrary to the teaching and guidance of Holy Quran and Sunnah.
He started his talk by listing three types of hands which are: (1) the hand that builds, (2) the hand that protects and (3) the hand that destroys. He stressed that we must be cautious about “the hand that destroys” and we should tackle it with argument, persuasion and knowledge.
