Under the patronage of Honorable Dean Dr. Nasser S. Al-Kahtani, Honorable Vice Dean Dr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Zahrani and Admin Manager Mr. Mohammed Abdulmatloob Hamdan, the Students’ Activities Committee organized a workshop entitled: “Self Development” which was presented by Dr. Mohammad Reshad Faridi, Assistant Professor in Marketing Department.
Dr. Reshad Faridi discussed the concept of self-development, difference between self-confidence and arrogance, importance of view of a person about himself, methods of filling the mind with positive ideas, keenness to address the negative ideas and its effect on human as an internal hindrance for an individual. Also, he said that Allah the Almighty has put in humans such skills and abilities which help them to develop themselves.
Also, he said that self-development is the only way of success in life and negative feeling, hesitation and uncertainty of possibilities is the beginning of failure and lot of talents of humans wasted because they could not realize their potentials which Allah had bestowed upon them and if they had utilized it, they would have done a lot.
Dr. Faridi ended his presentation stressing that firstly and lastly a student gets his strength from being a muslim and a righteous man.
