Students’ Activities Committee – College of Business Administration organized a workshop on Wednesday 21/03/2018 GC under the title “World Trade Organization (WTO) and Stand of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” which was delivered by Dr. Shady Hegazy, Assistant Professor in Law Department.
The workshop introduced international organizations like “World Trade Center” (WTO) and its historical development as well as the establishment of “General Agreement on Tariff & Trade” (GATT) and its principles and rules on which the trade system of the Organization is based. Also, Dr. Hegazy explained about the activities of organization, its role in activating international trade, Saudi Arabia’s joining the WTO, advantages and disadvantages of its joining the WTO and the challenges it may face. In the end, Dr. Hegazy responded to the questions of students and their queries about this important topic.
