Under the patronage of Honorable Dean Dr. Nasser S. Al-Kahtani and in the presence of Honorable Vice Dean Dr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Zahrani and Admin Manager Mr. Mohammed Abdulmatloob Hamdan, the Students Activities Committee (SAC) of the College organized a lecture entitled “Effective Presentation”.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Mohammad Reshad Faridi, Assistant Professor in Marketing Department.
The lecture elaborated the presentation methods and its techniques and emphasized that the presentation should be “advanced information rich” and should not only focus on colors and formats as the simplicity in presentation and clarity in the description is of vital importance.
Dr. Faridi stressed that the presentation should contain colors and simple pictures/images which make it interesting but the difficult ideas and solutions should be avoided. Also, he presented some advices to the audience in regard to the presentation such as: (1) it should contain successful experiences and stories of business field (2) it should not be converted into a lecture and (3) it should be related to the field and area the presenter has worked in. In the end, the attendee students were given incentive prizes through draw system.
