The Department of Marketing at the College of Business Administration at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in Al-Kharj was established in 2007. The department offers a comprehensive academic program in collaboration with other academic departments within the college, leading to a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Since its inception, the department’s academic curriculum has required students to complete 131 credit hours. These include core courses in Marketing Principles, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Market Research, Sales Management, Industrial Marketing, and Marketing Strategies. Additionally, the program includes supporting courses in Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Accounting, and Artificial Intelligence, as well as practical courses, a graduation project, and hands-on field training in real-world market institutions. From the outset, the curriculum was carefully designed to ensure integration and coherence among the studied courses and to meet the needs and demands of the Saudi labor market in both the public and private sectors.
