The Students’ Activities Committee organized first “Forum of Students’ Club” in the college under the supervision of Dr. Fakhreldin Mousa Mohamed, Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Resources Management, who delivered a lecture about the current condition of students’ clubs in the college and said that the presently registered club is the HRM Club and any student of the college can join this club irrespective of his specialization. There are two student clubs which are: volunteering club and entrepreneurship club.
Also, Dr. Fakhreldin stressed the need of students’ participation in volunteering clubs as it plays a very important role in building the educational and life experience of students and provide them opportunity to practice non-academic activities which will help them to merge in the community of the university with their colleagues who have common interests. Also, it will boost the developmental opportunities which will help them to understand the work through a team, help them to hone their skills practically, encourage volunteer works, general service and group work among students as well as it will strengthen the academic specializations with practical aspect to improve the efficiency of understanding and comprehension.
Thereafter, Dr. Tarek El-Khateb, Chair of Students’ Activities Committee and Chair of Volunteering Club, presented the aspirations, objectives and action plane of Club in the area of volunteer work.
