In the frame of weekly students’ activities in the College of Business Administration, the Students Activities Committee organized a lecture entitled: “Know the Marketing Specialization” which was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Suhail Ajinah, Head of Marketing Department.
Dr. Ahmed defined the specialization of marketing, its related areas and job opportunities as well as corrected the concepts and mental image which the student have about this specialization stressing that the marketing specialization is not a rigid science but it is a mix of science, innovation, art and skill.
Also, he explained the modern concepts of marketing discussing the historical glimpses about the development of marketing science and citing the contemporary models & real examples of some companies and organizations.
Thereafter, Dr. Ahmed presented a detailed introduction to the courses of specialization, its contents and objectives and the areas of works for graduates of marketing in Saudi and International Markets.
In the end, the prizes were distributed to the audience through draw system who extended their thanks to Dr. Ahmed Suhail Ajinah for valuable information which contributed to change their view about the marketing specialization.
