Students’ Activities Committee at College of Business Administration organized a workshop on Wednesday 28/02/2018 GC under the title of “How Do You Plan for Your Future” which was delivered by Dr. Tarek El-Khateb, Assistant Professor in Marketing Department.
The workshop focused on the concept of planning and its importance at individual as well as institutional level if it contains a clear vision and mission and an ambitious plan for future as Dr. El-Khateb indicated to the importance of future planning for youths as it is not an optional thing but it has become a pressing need at present time. He shed light on the criteria of good planning (which should reflect the priorities for individual), benefits of planning, elements of planning, and types of planning and priorities which must be taken into account to achieve this planning. Also, he discussed the seven steps to set objectives and conditions of implementable objectives in order to find a clear future vision.
In the end, Dr. El-Khateb stressed the need that every individual must specify objectives he wishes to achieve and activate the planning in this framework in a way that supports the individuals in achieving their objectives and accomplishing their tasks.
