The Students’ Activities Committee of College of Business Administration organized an extensive lecture under the title: “Entrepreneurship in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Reality and Prospects” on 31/10/2017 GC. The lecture was a part of preparations of the College for the “Second Scientific Conference” which will be organized by the University.
Dr. Tarek Taufique El-Khateb, Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing, delivered the lecture which contained the introduction to the conference (which will be organized by the University) and mechanism of participation and it focused on the theme of “entrepreneurship”. The reality of entrepreneurship projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, important characteristics of a successful entrepreneur, the obstacles facing an entrepreneur and mechanism to overcome them were discussed in the Lecture.
Also, Dr. El-Khateb explained with detail the mechanism to prepare proposal for entrepreneurship projects and mechanism to prepare the entrepreneurship research papers.
In the end of the lecture, he motivated students to participate in the conference in order to make it a success, highlight the role of college to take part actively in the activities and events of the University and to show the different talents of the students. Also, the students get benefit from the prizes and awards granted by the University and the College in this regard. Dr. El-Khateb expressed his best wishes for the success of all students as they are focus of educational process.
