Students’ Activities Committee organized “students’ trip to the factory and farms of Almarai located in Al-Kharj. The visit was a part of CBAK’s efforts to interact with external community and cooperation with private sector. During the tour, the students, who were accompanied by a group of faculty members, visited farms of Almarai, bread factory, juice factory, and milk factory.
The visit started with a tour in farms of Almarai with an explanation about the operations of milk production and pasteurization as well as other operations in the farm. Thereafter, the students visited the factory of milk, cheese and other products. A short movie was also shown to the students about the company. The visit came to an end with lunch and memorandums presented to the team
The students benefited from the visit as it introduced them about the job opportunities and required specializations in the mega factories which need national cadre that utilize their learnt modern knowledge to manage and develop the economy based on knowledge.
