The College of Business Administration participated in the events of “Second Saudi International Conference of Scientific Publishing” which was held in Riyadh during 11-13/Oct/2015 GC under the patronage of His Excellency Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, governor of Riyadh region.
Dr. Mohammad Reshad Faridi, Assistant Professor in Marketing Department and Mr. Mobarak Abdullah Al-dawsari, lecturer in Marketing Department represented the College in the events. Both were honored on the sidelines of the conference.
The conference discussed the issues of scientific publishing and its challenges in Arab World, the indexing and ranking of journals, difficulties faced by Arab Researchers to publish their works in globally recognized journals, ways to overcome those constraints, assessment of scientific publishing in Arab World, highlighting the roles, duties and responsibilities entrusted to the Editors-in-Chief and the Members of Editorial Board. Also, the conference elaborated local and international performance indicators for the process of scientific research and publishing.
