Under the auspices of Honorable Dean Dr. Nasser S. Al-Kahtani, Vice Dean Dr. Ali bin Saleh Al-Zahrani and Admin Manager Mr. Mohammad Abdul Matloob Hamdan, the College of Business Administration organized “Preparatory Forum” for Seventh Scientific Conference under the chairmanship of college coordinator for seventh scientific conference Dr. Fakhreldin Mousa Mohamed. The event was attended by Honorable Dean of Students’ Affairs Dr. Musfir Al-Kubairi, Honorable General Secretary of Higher Committee for Preparation for Seventh Scientific Conference Dr. Omar Mohammed Deen, Dr. Sallab bin Abdullah Al-Shukrah and Assistant Dean for Students’ Affairs Mr. Jamal bin Hamd Al-Hamda.
The event started with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran and then Honorable Dean of the College delivered a speech in which he appreciated the efforts to produce the participations and preparations made by the College and extended his thanks to those who are carrying out “Participating Works” and acknowledged the efforts to select the topics and participations. Thereafter, the chair of students’ advisory council Mr. Ezam Mohammed Al-Harbi said that the Council is feeling proud of extensive students’ participations in the events of the conference.
After discussion about the participating works like scientific research, fine arts, innovation, small projects and community service, Honorable Dean of Students’ Affairs addressed the forum and outlined the facilities and supports which were made available to the students of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and stressed that the student is the focus of the “University March”. He appreciated the efforts of the College and Organizing Committee for preparation and success of these events as well as praised the level of participating works and the well-organized forum. Also, he described that the University achieved high positions in last years. He ended his speech praising the efforts of the College and extended his thanks to the College, its faculty, employees and college coordinator for the conference.
It is worth mentioning here that there was very tough competition in the theme of scientific research as the student Mr. Zamil Marooque Mobasshir Al-Harbi was declared winner by the “Arbitration Committee” which is chaired by Dr. Nabil Senan. The students Mr. Zyad Omar Mohammed Deen was winner in the theme of innovation, small projects, community service. The student Mr. Moqrin Al-Harbi was innter for event entitled: “Explain It”. The student Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Masood was winner in the theme of fine arts while student Mr. Maher Faez Al-Saudi was winner in the theme of Photography. Also, the prizes for lucky draw were given to the audience.
