The Department of Accounting, College of Business Administration, Al Kharj organized an Industrial Visit to "Almarai Company" on February 07, 2019. The visit was exclusive for Accounting Specialization students. The entire visit was attended by some of the Accounting faculty members: Dr. R. B. Sharma, Dr. Abdul Wahid and Dr. Abdul Rahman Shaik, Mr. Omar Bagais.
Almarai Co, the largest dairy company in Saudi Arabia by market value, operates dairy farms and processes food, in addition to marketing dairy products and fruit juices. Main aim industrial visit was to provide an exposure to students about practical working environment of Almarai Company. It was the golden opportunity for students to know the products and By-Products, process, inventory, assets and capital of Almarai Company.
The visit proved to be extremely beneficial as it provided sound knowledge to students regarding first infant nutrition factory, innovative technology used in dairy and juice processing operations, along with a bakery facility.
