College of Business Administration organized “preparatory forum” for the second scientific conference on Wednesday 20/02/2018 GC. The program aimed to arbitrate all participatory works in the Second Scientific Conference for Academic Year 1438/1439 HC. The event was attended by Dr. Sallab bin Abdullah Al-Shukrah, Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shutaili, Vice Dean of Students Affairs and Dr. Omar Mohammed Deen, General Secretary of Higher Second Scientific Conference. They were welcomed by Honorable Dean of College Dr. Nasser S. Al-Kahtani, Vice Dean for Quality & Development Dr. Ahmed Suhail Ajina, College’s Coordinator for Second Scientific Conference Dr. Tarek El-Khateb and Admin Manager Mr. Bandar Ibrahim Al-Shaheen.
The event started with recitation of verses from Holy Quran followed by a speech delivered by Honorable Dean of College in which he stressed that College is keen to extend its support to these programs and motivated all students to participate and benefit from these forums. Thereafter, Dr. Sallab bin Abdullah Al-Shukrah, Dean of Students Affairs, stressed the importance of this scientific forum and participatory works in enriching the academic process and motivating the students to hard work and creativity.
Dr. Tarek El-Khateb delivered a speech in which he indicated to the efforts made by the College in organizing these events and stressed the importance of such events as they improve the personality of students and hone their skills and talents. Also, he briefed about the committees formed and workshops presented by the college in this regard and said that total fifteen (15) events were organized. Also, Dr. El-Khateb talked about participatory works of students, especially in the themes of Business & Economic Production and Awareness Films. After his speech, students presented their works which covered the themes of scientific research, social & volunteer initiatives, business & economic production and awareness films. After the program, all attendees reached to accompanying exhibition in the College Hall as students explained briefly about their projects and entrepreneurial ideas on different themes.
In the end, Dr. Nasser S. Al-Kahtani thanked to the Deanship of Students’ Affairs for its support and care for these innovative ideas which improve students’ skills and enable them to face their academic and practical life.
